Quite literally...we have a HOLE! So those prayers I asked of all of you on my last post must have worked. The rainy days haven't exactly stopped but they stopped long enough for our hole to be dug and the foundation is underway! Moving full speed ahead! Progress, my friends, progress! Here are a few pictures from today.

So there you have it! Feels a little weird that this is actually happening but we couldn't be more excited!
On a side note, our friends Josh and Brooke sold their house in West Des Moines and ended up buying a house 2 streets away from our new place. Their house is absolutely gorgeous and they move in, in 2 weeks. We are so excited to have them in the neighborhood!
