So close...

We are getting SO close and it is starting to set in that this really is our home and we really will be moving in soon! After a gorgeous weather weekend we can only hope for 2 more just like it! We got loads of stuff finished and moved out of our garage this weekend (including our 300+lb Sony TV!!!) so we are definitely getting prepped to move. We have things pretty well situated with regard to the move and feel like we have a good, organized plan in place for the week of the move. We are on a tight timeline as we close on Tuesday, November 15th and have to be completely out of our townhouse, cleaned up, etc. by end of day Sunday the 20th...we will have 6 days that unfortunately we have to work for half of those. We are looking at it as similar situation we had moving out of Altoona, we only had a few days and worked our butts off every night to make it happen. Luckily this time we won't have a 20+ minute drive between trips and we'll have a second muscle man (Benny) helping so hopefully we can get alot accomplished. Anyways...on to what has changed the the new house-a-roo! Since Tuesday the wood floors have been completely laid, carpet is laid throughout and most of the appliances have been delivered! Here's a looksy:

Entry wood and carpet!

The KITCHEN! Can't see the wood floors quite yet but check out that fridge and the sparkle of the backsplash!
Carpet meet your friend, tile.

Basement living space - the stone on this fireplace was put on this week.

Can't really tell but this is our laundry room - complete with a new washer/dryer!

And the stove...still needs the vent hood but looks pretty snazzy so far!
I mentioned on Tuesday that the sod has also been laid so here's another photo from the outside! And the deck is nearing completion as well!

Still a few things to be done to the outside - rails on the front stoop, garage trim painted, columns painted and we need a mailbox!
The deck view from the living room window.
So there you have it...in less than 10 days Brian and I will be the proud owners of this place. And trust me, you WILL be welcome anytime! Have a great day!

XOXO - j
